The Soundscape
Three new track to be added to the soundscape
THE SOUNDSCAPE
The exhibition is created with a soundscape that the visitor either can find on their ow device or they can borrow a set of mp3 player and headphones in the Café above the exhibition for a deposit that the visitor will get back, when returning the equipment.
The main song "Inner Voice" has been replaced by the original version. Somehow the former track had an up speedet version that was never meant to exist.
The soundscape is divided into three categories, letting the visitor taking active part of their own experience in the room. "What do I need for today's visit?" :
1: Mindfulness (nature sounds)
2: Inspiration (music)
3: Reflection (interviews)
The musician Rebecca Beeland are one of the musicians donating music to this project. For the interviews you might find two of her melodies, she composes folk music with er clarinet.
The song is an ode to someone we know and it was written after reading a really vulnerable sharing from our friend; about strength, courage and hope. And from this - this song came to life.
The new added track is a live recording from her latest tour around in Jylland, Denmark where the finished version of the song was accompanied by fellow musicians (guitar, double bass and two violins alongside Rebecca's clarinet) to the songs' full length.
Steens' Waltz
The track for the interviews "Inner Weather" has been replaced by a newer and much greater version. Where the background sounds, that interrupted the listening experience, has been equalized manually and made more easy to listen to. A lot of sounds still remains as we hear live recordings from the ocean, with waves, the wind etc. These sounds would be a shame to take away. But scratching sounds from touching the devices, a heavy wind blocking the sounds of the speaker etc. has been modified for the better and a lot still kept in order to let the tracks remains as raw and pure as possible.
The rest of the tracks are in a process of being processed too and another update will appear when more tracks had been replaced - or new ones added.
- then you might think "so how can I listen to this soundscape?"
While the exhibition is still on display at Gallery Underkanten, Kofoeds School, Copenhagen, DK. It will remain only accessible for the visitors. Afterwards the soundscape will be shared on the webpage, giving online access to everyone visiting the webpage.
Inner Weather - interview
A new track for the nature sounds has been added.
The tracks are currently being sorted in organized, meaning this is part three from the research of the nature sounds. Taking place at Örnsbjerg, Vinterviken, Stockholm in Sweden. Recorded June 2025 7 days, each morning and sometimes in the evening too.
the rest of the tracks will come along.
"when" is a good question.
Under each tracks a separate photo will be added. Separate information about the individual tracks and when this had been updated. The old tracks, if being edited, will be replaces with the new. The soundscape is, just as the exhibition, in movement.
