THE TIDE PHONE

Somewhere on the exhibition, you will find The Tide Phone

Here you can call your former self in a time where you needed some calming words or maybe just a listening ear. From the string you will find notes, written by other visitors. Words they once needed to hear or words they think might support you.

The concept is developed from my inspiration coming from Sharron Devine whom did her own version during lock down; The Ferry Phone at Studio Space Art, Scotland. Inspired by the original The Sorrow Phone in Japan.

It might be hidden in a corner

Or in the middle of the Spiral

This is also where the rituals take part. Where intentions get stored and a place for old things to be released.
