Have you ever sat in silence

- and listened

To the songs of the sea?

More Than a Project

Our physical being is held by water, as the earth is held by the ocean. Without water,we wouldn't be.

-Ea Badea

Like the Tide is also an initiation to questioning our actions, our life and irl vs. online presence and to cherish a movement of simple slow living.

Everything is written/created by hand and/or produced by humans. Believing we are not here to be perfect, but to be and to share our experiences. These sometimes gets blocked by trauma, memories or illness and instead of trusting blind on others' words, we encourage to feel within your body what it tells you. From here comes the word "self healing", as others can only guide or support you, but you have to do the magic yourself.

Like the Tide's approach to research expands over two specific areas:

The sound & frequencies of the ocean/water

Studies of form & figures

I transform this into experiences for the people, rituals used to calm down the nervous system by activating calming memories, evoked by the senses. And a place to water the seeds of ideas that we all carry within.

Like the Tide is a project focusing on self healing, the ocean and our connection with nature.

It is an initiation to dive deeper within yourself. A place to collect stories, sensing and exploring through art, sound and physical ceremonies.

Like the Tide started through experiencing trauma on my own body and I did tons of studies, as all treatments only made it all worse. I stumbled across the works of Masaru Emoto, whom studied crystalisation of water that showed a pattern where water created crystals depending on the words. Words like "I love you" or "I detest you". He did this for the rest of his life and now, Veda Austin has taken over and continues sharing her research about this.

If water reacts on words and since we consist of water, how would you imagine the power words, coming from you and the people around you, affects your physical and mental health?

"To understand water is to understand the cosmos, the marvels of nature, and life itself. "

- Masaru Emoto

January-March 2026 the very first exhibition was held, four ceremonies and one guest-workshop hosted in the space created. Now, new things are bobbling in the kettle.

Healing is a fluid movement, flushing back and forth, in non linear movements, like the tide. When we start to understand the functions and connection between ancient history, neuroscience and how our nature (hereby the body and mind) lives in symbiosis, we start to have a pretty solid foundation of how to navigate. Understanding a language shown beside words.

Follow Along

As the first exhibition now officially is over, the next phase is to settle (and heal a handful concussions), creating and arrangements of new places

to exhibit + host events and to arrange travel plans for 2027.

While doing so, the blog will be ongoing.

A news mail will appear some time during summer 2026. Send an email here in order to sign up for the list

Like the Tide is about questioning
Questioning our life, our choices and our whole being

It is about remembering our ancestors, our history and a way of living aligned with our inner nature

Nourishing our inner nature & our hormone cycles

Grounding unstable molecules etc. that in our modern world for many, evolves into cell- and nerve damages

Re-living how to be, in the search of (re)inventing technology

Diving into the ocean as being the largest arms hugging our planet and home

The largest area not being discovered fully on earth

Mixing together art - ancient history - our well being

Everything goes hand in hand and everything starts with a question

We dream and then we act

Remembering our Connecting With the Nature

Exhibition 12thJanuary-2ndMarch 2026, Galleri Underkanten, Copenhagen, DK

Inspired by form and figures in nature, sounds (from water), senses, neuroscience and art. Based on research of the ocean, ancient mythology/archeology to modern science, self-exploration involving self healing from deep traumas and how life evolves in a non-linear path. Going back and forth in unforeseen patterns, -like the tide.

An interactive art project - exploring different ways of combining art, sound and senses

The project; -Like the Tide invites the visitor into a guided experience, exploring the senses in a room installed with art. Supported by a soundscape with music from artists around Europe and an interactive performances and ceremonies.

The music is made from the artists living aligned with nature, one way or another. While the music composed by the founder, Ea Badea, has found the surface when connecting with the ocean.
