Have you ever sat in silence
- and listened
To the songs of the sea?
More Than a Project
When we start to understand the functions- and connection between ancient history, neuroscience and how nature (aka the body and mind) lives in symbiosis, we start to have a pretty solid foundation of how to navigate in life.
Our whole existence is held by water, the earth is held by the ocean and without it, we wouldn't be. -Ea Badea
Like the Tide is an initiation to questioning our actions, our life and irl vs. online presence and to cherish a movement of a more simple life, slow living and allowing yourself to be enough by simply existing.
Everything is written by hand, produced by humans and all art handmade. We also encourage sharing drafts to work against the "perfect" shot, but simple catching a raw and honest moment.
We are not here to be perfect, but to be and to share that experience. And if the water carries all the memories of the world, how about the water in our bodies and our DNA through the hydrational shell? And if that water is affected by the way we treat it, how do you think our body's react on each other, the world and our general surroundings?
"Together we heal. "
Like the Tide's approach to research expands over two specific areas:
"The sound & frequences of the ocean/water"
"Studies of #Forms&Figures"
I transform this into experiences for the people, rituals used for transformation, as a unity gathering us in groups in real life and a place to water the seeds of ideas that we all carry within.
Like the Tide is a project focusing on selfhealing, the ocean and our connection with nature
Both the nature we consist of as the one surrounding us
Like the Tide is an initiation to dive deeper within yourself. A place to collect stories, sensing and exploring
- through art, sound and physical ceremonies.
January-March 2026 the very first exhibition was held, 4 ceremonies were made and 1 guest-workshop hosted in the space. Many videos recording and an up-coming event for finishing the opening/ending ceremonies are bobbling in the kettle
"To understand water is to understand the cosmos, the marvels of nature, and life itself. "
- Masaru Emoto
Healing is a fluid movement, flushing back and forth, in different forms and figures, non linear movements - just like the tide.
Follow Along
As the first exhibition now officially is over, the next phase is to settle (and heal a handful concussions), creating and arrangements of new places
to exhibit + host events and to arrange travel plans for 2027.
While doing so, the blog will be ongoing.
A news mail will appear some time during summer 2026. Send an email here in order to sign up for the list
Like the Tide is about questioning
Questioning our life, our choices and our whole being
It is about remembering our ancestors
Our history and a way of living aligned with our inner nature
Nourishing our inner nature, our hormone cycles
Grounding unstable molecules etc. that in our modern world for many, evolves into cell- and nerve damages
Re-living how to be, in the search of (re)inventing technology
Diving into the ocean as being the largest arms hugging our planet and home
And at the same time, the largest area not being discovered
Art - ancient history - our well being
Everything goes hand in hand and everything starts with a question - then we dram and then we act
Remembering our Connecting With the Nature
Exhibition 12thJanuary-2ndMarch 2026, Galleri Underkanten, Copenhagen, DK
Inspired by form and figures in nature, sounds (from water), senses, neuroscience and art. Based on research of the ocean, ancient mythology/archeology to modern science, self-exploration involving self healing from deep traumas and how life evolves in a non-linear path. Going back and forth in unforeseen patterns, -like the tide.
An interactive art project - exploring different ways of combining art, sound and senses
The project; -Like the Tide invites the visitor into a guided experience, exploring the senses in a room installed with art. Supported by a soundscape with music from artists around Europe and an interactive performances and ceremonies.
The music is made from the artists living aligned with nature, one way or another. While the music composed by the founder, Ea Badea, has found the surface when connecting with the ocean.
